Wet Weather Alternatives
When choosing your ceremony location consider how disappointing and stressful it would be if it became unusable due to wet weather, which the Sunshine Coast surprisingly does have its fair share of. If it is something that would completely spoil the day for you, then opt for somewhere that will be perfect 'rain or shine' for you and your guests, an all in one/inside venue that has its own wet weather plan built into your package.
With this in mind here are a few Sunshine Coast-Noosa/Rainy Day Wedding Plan B Options:
A marquee on private property is always a good bet. This is can be done by yourselves, purchased form a DIY store and then re-used or one of the lovely styling companies will arrange and put up for you.
Your Own Home! Do you have outdoor decking with adequate cover that family and friends can style for you?

The undercover area on one of the private cruise ferries where I perform the ceremony on the boat, it's different and everyone loves enjoy it!
The accommodation you book would usually be ample space for a small number of guests, especially if you upgrade to a Penthouse suite with large balcony.
A private holiday home rental, Air BNB or large apartment with lovely views is another option and beautiful for you and your guests to enjoy while you are there. Definitely this would be my preferred choice, as you are getting the benefit of enjoying staying there as well, even though paying maybe a little extra.
The Restaurant with whom you have booked your reception may be willing to accommodate you and your guests for an undercover ceremony if necessary, depending on the day and time and the of course the restaurant you choose. The Surf Clubs can be particularly helpful with this.
