The only downside with our amazing Sunshine Coast Wedding and Reception Venues and Locations is there are so many stunning ones to choose from….the only boundary is your imagination!

In Australia, you can marry anytime and anywhere. After the date is set and you have worked out roughly how many guests to invite, the next big decision is the ‘where’ factor?

When narrowing down the options start by thinking of categories: beach, park, chapel, all in one venue, restaurant, a friend or family members property, your deck or simply your own pool deck or backyard!

Consider what fits with your personalities, your vision for your wedding, your budget as well as accessibility for all your guests too! Will you have the ceremony and reception all in one spot? (saves transporting everyone) and always have at the back of your mind a solid Plan B alternative. Yes, it does rain on the Sunshine Coast, not often, but it’s imperative to have a wet weather ceremony alternative. There is plenty more information in my blog

Public locations e.g. beaches, boardwalks, lookouts, parks, rock-walls, reserves, viewing decks, botanic garden require a very 'easy to obtain' council permit .

Private ones e.g. restaurants, halls, hotels, resorts, venues, estates, Airbnb properties, holiday homes private homes and gardens do not. Do check other restrictions though, e.g. Not all holiday rentals allow events to take place.
